Sarah's "BIG" T-Shirt Quilt

SARAH'S T-SHIRT QUILT

Sarah was one of Ye Olde Forest Quilters first customers.  She commissioned us to completed two T-Shirt quilts for her by Christmas 2007.  We met half way between here and there and two tubs of 84 shirts later, we began our project of working on her T-Shirt quilts. 

Sarah wanted two quilts.  The first quilt was a "throw size" quilt with 24 squares or T-shirts and the second quilt was the "BIG" quilt with 60 T-shirts.  The "BIG" T-shirt quilt measures approximately 150 inches by 100 inches...12 1/2 feet wide by almost 8 feet long!

We met her on Christmas day with her quilts finally finished...the binding was completed just two hours prior to meeting Sarah!  Just remember, the date you want your quilt completed by is the date you'll get it back especially when you give it to a long arm quilter and a CPA:)
